Dye Work
A collection of commissioned natural dye based pieces. I'm always exploring, foraging, and testing new dyes, but here are some of my favorites: eucalyptus leaves, fennel, loquat leaves, redwood bark, pine bark, oak galls, and indigo.

Mill Valley Tree House Cushions
One of many collaborations with Jay Nelson, these cushions inside a tree house Jay built were dyed using Redwood bark from the trees holding up the tree house.

Indigo Cushions for Kauai House
Another collaboration with Jay Nelso, these cushions were dyed in indigo for a house Jay built in Kauai.

Oak Gall and Iron Table Cloth and Napkins
Khadi table cloth and my mother's napkins dyed in oak gall and iron for a shoot for the SF Chronicle.

Patagonia Kids Camper Cushions
These cushions were made for a mini-camper built by Jay to be used in the kid's section of the Patagonia store in NYC. The front half is khadi dyed in indigo, the back half is khadi dyed in pine bark.

Podolls Playhouse Indigo Curtains & Covers
Khadi dyed in indigo used for curtains and cushion covers for the playhouse Jay Nelson created for the Podolls store in San Francisco.

Dyed Wall
In collaboration with Alexis at Case for Making, we dyed a wall of the shop using indigo, oak gall & iron, and sandalwood. Hopefully more of this to come.
